Joint Admissions Exercise 2025

Registration

The Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) is conducted annually by the Ministry of Education (MOE) to allow Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate holders to apply for admission to courses offered by:

• Junior Colleges (JC),

• Millennia Institute (MI),

• Polytechnics, and

• Institute of Technical Education (ITE).

The following candidates are eligible to participate in the JAE except those who have been successfully admitted to a school through the Direct School Admission-Junior Colleges (DSA-JC) Exercise / Polytechnic Early Admissions Exercise (Poly EAE) / ITE Early Admissions Exercise (ITE EAE):

• All Singapore Citizens (SC) or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) with valid Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results from any year.

• International candidates studying in a Government School, Government-Aided School, or an Independent School in Singapore with valid Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination results.

Applicants may apply for the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE) registration via the JAE Internet System (JAE-IS) using their SingPass or JAE PIN within six calendar days after the release of the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level Examination results.

The JAE application starts from 4pm on Friday, 10 January 2025 and ends at 4pm on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. During this period, you must submit your application through the JAE-IS (available 24-hour).

Cut-off L1R5 Points for Admission into JPJC
The table below shows past L1R5 aggregate cut-off points (after deduction of bonus points) for the Joint Admission Exercise. Please note that student postings are subject to vacancy availability, and not all applicants with the listed L1R5 aggregate scores are successfully posted to JPJC.

Students who are successfully posted to JPJC:
If you are successfully posted to JPJC, you will need to report to the school on the morning of Wednesday, 5 February 2025, dressed in your secondary school uniform.
