Art
The Art unit seeks to nurture a love for the arts in students through delivering an effective art curriculum that develops in them critical thinking and creativity through the process of art making involving the use of a variety of media and technologies. We believe that these aptitudes are essential in the face of the challenges of the knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.
Prerequisites
Interested candidates must sit for a 1-hour Aptitude Test comprising simple art-related tasks. Candidates may also present a portfolio, though it is not compulsory. More details will be provided during Matriculation.
‘O’ and ‘N’ Level Art are not prerequisites for taking ‘A’ Level Art.
Direct School Admission (DSA) – Art
Our college also offers DSA Art to secondary school students who demonstrate strong interest and ability in the visual arts. Students who are offered the DSA will be given a wide array of opportunities in the college to further pursue their interest and be involved in organising various art enrichment activities for their peers.
