Literature Symposium
Literature Symposium 2023 was a resounding success, bringing together 150 JC1 and JC2 students who honoured and celebrated the diverse aspects of Literature in English. The event featured a captivating programme that included a special choral performance, costume parade and a teachers' performance.
Choral Performance: Celebrating Prose, Drama, and Poetry
The highlight of the Literature Symposium was the choral performance by the JC1 Literature in English cohort. This performance skillfully encompassed all three literary genres - prose, drama, and poetry. The students exhibited their creative prowess by seamlessly blending an accomplished and original prose piece by Purinita Danielle Justine Jay Kaur, with the dramatic speeches of 'Saint Joan' and 'Hamlet,' resulting in a compelling poetic showcase.
